A Letter of Thanks and Clarification: Dismissal of All Deputies

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Talossa

L'Óifisch del Distain del Regipäts Talossa

Announcement: A Letter of Thanks and Clarification from the Government

On behalf of His Majesty's Government, I would like to offer my sincerest thanks to all the Deputy Ministers who served under the previous government. The work you put in was exceptional and you are all a credit to the Talossan nation as a result of the work you have poured into the last government. But, as I'm sure you've noticed, times are in fact changing. The challenges of coalition government are manifold and it requires the politicisation of Deputy Ministers in the sense that they are now required to be as this government understands, 'political understudies' as Minister Schiva put it.

Deputy Ministers for Stuff, Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Justice, this government would like to thank you for your time and effort. You are, as of the 25th of January 2014, relieved of your duties. Take a well deserved rest, and once again: I thank you.

MinCult appointments

By the power vested in me by the Head of State, at the initiative of the incoming Seneschál, I, M. A. Schivâ, Minister of Culture, would like to make the following appointments for staff in the Culture Ministry:

  • Magniloqueu Épiqeu da Lhiun as Deputy Minister of Culture

  • Sen. Munditenens Tresplet as National Gamesmaster / Xhumestreu Naziunál

Thank you. Now to work.

Cabinet Appointments

The Office of the Prime Minister of Talossa

L'Óifisch dal Seneschal del Regipäts Talossa

Recommendation: Appointment of the Cabinet and the Túischac'h

Voastra Maxhestà,

the coalition parties, MRPT, ZRT and LPR/RPT have agreed on the appointment of a cabinet consisting of the following ministers. The result is a strong team, consisting of members of all three parties and independents, both young, ambitious politicians and experienced Talossans, including two former Prime Ministers and also a former President and two former PMs of the Republic. All these Talossans have shown to be active, loyal and dedicated, so I am confident they will serve Talossa well.

Therefore I, Glüc da Dhi, Seneschal del Regipäts Talossan, with all duly vested authority and stuff, hereby recommend that Your Majesty appoint these Talossan citizens to the following cabinet posts:

to the position of
Distain

to the position of
Foreign Minister

to the position of
Defence Minister

to the position of
Minister of Immigration

to the position of
Minister of Stuff

to the position of
Home Minister

to the position of
Finance Minister

to the position of
Minister of Culture

to the position of
Attorney-General

Furthermore, a functioning government needs control and opposition coming from a functioning parliament and such a parliament needs an active speaker. Last term this speaker was a member of the opposition and it seems like a good idea to continue this tradition

Therefore I would further recommend that Your Majesty appoint:

to the position of
Túischac'h

Appointment of a Seneschal

We JOHN by the Grace of God King of Talossa and of all its Realms and Regions, King of Cézembre, Sovereign Lord and Protector of Pengöpäts and the New Falklands, Defender of the Faith, Leader of the Armed Forces, Viceroy of Hoxha and Vicar of Atatürk, do hereby appoint our well-beloved S:reu Glüc da Dhi to serve as Seneschal of the Kingdom of Talossa, his term in office to begin immediately. We are confident of S:reu da Dhi's loyalty to the nation, and of his ability both to fulfill the obligations intendant upon Our First Minister and to command the confidence of the 46th Cosa.

We extend our thanks to S:reu da Dhi for agreeing to serve Our Kingdom in this new capacity, and also to the leaders of the four Parties represented in the 46th Cosa for their assistance in Our deliberations regarding this appointment.

Done under Our hand Royal at Our palace at the city of Centennial in Colorado, this 24th day of January being the Feast of St Timohty Bishop of Ephesus in the year of salvation 2014, of the independence of Talossa the 34th, and of Our reign the seventh.
